Hartford Healthcare Headache Center
About the Program
Our distinguished one-year program, accredited by UCNS, provides a unique opportunity for individuals aspiring to advance their expertise in the field of headache medicine, offering a comprehensive blend of clinical and research experiences.
During their training, fellows will have the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, including adults with a wide spectrum of primary and secondary headache and craniofacial pain disorders, all in an outpatient setting. They will gain proficiency in performing advanced procedures such as nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and Botox administration.
To further enrich their knowledge, our program incorporates weekly didactic lectures and dedicates academic research time within the fellow’s schedule. This deliberate allocation of time empowers our trainees to delve into specific areas of interest, conduct meaningful research, and even author research articles, ensuring their comprehensive growth as future leaders in the field of headache medicine.
